I used to scribble comic panels on napkins and write dialogue on the backs of receipts—usually while working under the roar of a roller coaster at a theme park job. Even then, I knew I wanted to create stories for a living. I wasn’t sure where that dream would lead—I just knew I wanted to enjoy my work and be able to make a living in the process.

Since then, I’ve designed a mobile app, built a website, reworked branding, and iterated design systems based on real-time feedback from developers and managers. I’ve become the kind of designer who listens deeply, learns quickly, and leads with story.

These days, I notice the little details—color choices, micro-interactions, font hierarchy—and how they shape the narrative of a product. It turns out, “Storyteller” is a valid job title… especially when you tell stories with design.
